The club maintains an email list to to keep members up to date with the latest Alpine Club news and events. Members of the Okanagan section are invited to post information to the mailing list that is relevant and of interest to all subscribers.
- Click the “Unsubscribe or Edit Options” button near the bottom of the page
- Enter your email address and password and click the “Unsubscribe” button
- If you don’t have a password enter your email address and click the “Password Reminder” button.
To send an email to everyone on the list
Subscribe (above) then send an email to email@example.com Maximum size is 250K. Contact the administrator if you want to send a large attachment.
Did my email get sent to everyone on the list?
Yes. Really. You generally will not receive a copy of your own email but you should get an automated reply when you send it. If your email appears in the archives (see below) then it was sent. The list is moderated to prevent spam so there may be a delay.
Why am I not receiving email from the list?
Did you subscribe? See above to subscribe. If yes then most likely the mail is going into your spam folder. Try adding firstname.lastname@example.org to your email contacts. Feel free to contact the administrator (see below) but there is very little that can be done on the server side.
