Public comment period on a Crown Land Tenure application for a recreation site in the Big White area

The Integrated Land Management Bureau (ILMB) & Front Counter BC have advised ORC of a Crown Land Tenure application for a recreation site in the Big White area east of Okanagan Lake.
Since this is an application for a recreation site it is not a conventional application and as of today it is not available on the ILMB website in the usual way.
The File No. is REC32567 and it was filed May 29. The public comment period will end June 28.
Applicant: Kelowna Snowmobile Club
Tenure type: Recreation site designated under Section 57 of the Forest and Range Practices Act. Management to be guided by MTSA legislation.
Term: For as long as required
Purpose: Recreation trails for snowmobile use.
Area: The area surrounding Greystokes Provincial Park extending on a an established trail to Big White and including FSR 201 (Okanagan Falls) to Idabel Lake. The map accompanying the referral to ORC shows trails flanking both the east and the west sides of Greystokes P.P.with other trails extending south to Big White and south west towards Browne Lake
