We were nine people skiing from km 17/18 on Saturday. As usual, we were not the only party - lots of cars at 15 and 17, but plenty of snow for everyone. The skiing was great, with boot-top powder on a supportive base. In areas that were exposed to the wind, there was some drifting and soft slab formation, resulting in a few upside-down moments.
We followed up three great runs with a snack and beverage at the Burner.
