Sol Mountain Ski Trip and Avalanche Training Dec 17-22 2014

    To All ACC OK Back-Country Skiers and would be Skiers, the ACC OK is offering a 5 night, 6 day ski trip to SOL Mountain Lodge Dec 17th to 22nd, 2014.

    SOL Mountain is conveniently located 1 hour east of Vernon in the Monashee mountains. We helicopter in from Cherryville.

    This early season ski trip is perfect for tuning those back-country legs and SOL Mountain is renowned for Excellent early season powder!

    This trip will be fully guided and fully catered with accommodation in the Luxurious SOL Mountain Lodge, complete with indoor toilets, hot showers and an adjoining sauna. All meals and snacks are prepared by the awesome Chefs and include apres ski appies, wonderful salads and full 3 course gourmet dinners. There is a great selection of BC craft beers and wines available to purchase with your meal at very reasonable cost.

    The terrain at SOL Mountain is varied with everything from trees and glades to full alpine. Something for everyone.

    For anyone new to back-country skiing, this is an excellent opportunity to learn with expert guides. For those wanting more you can combine your ski trip with an AST 1 or 2 avalanche training course.

    The cost for this trip is $1550 per person, plus taxes for a total of $1677.50 per person. This includes helicopter flights in and out, all meals, great accommodation in comfortable rooms in a luxurious mountain lodge, guiding and ski instruction and AST 1 or 2 if desired.

    A deposit of $500, payable to ACC Okanagan, will be required to secure your place not later than 30 June 2014. You can give your cheques to Andy in person, or mail them to Andy McQuilkin, 122 Timberline Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 4J6. First come First served.

    I will send the registration forms and trip package to you once you have paid your deposit.
